Fans of the 1989 run and gun platformer Toki will probably be pretty excited to hear that the beloved game is heading to Analogue Pocket from developers Solal Retro Gaming.

The game originally debuted in arcades first, then later made its presence felt on home consoles such as the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, NES, C64, Atari ST, Amiga, and Atari Lynx.

Here’s a teaser image of the game running on the device via an X post:

We don’t yet have a confirmed release date for the Analogue Pocket version of Toki, but the developers are promising it’s coming fairly soonish. Better to wait as long as it takes to get it right rather than have it rushed out to the public with potential bug issues.

Were you a fan of the game in arcades and on home console? If so, will you be checking out this new port of the game once it becomes available? You can respond to this post by dropping a comment down in our community area below this article.

If we run into any new progress updates, will post them on the Dark Nation website.
