Welcome To Derry is still on course for a release date sometime in 2025, this according to a new report from the folks over at TVLine this week.
The website shared the following comments with its readers:
“Did I read that Welcome to Derry is now coming out in 2026? I only saw one random tweet (and zero legitimate news stories) out there claiming such, and then confirmed with HBO that the IT prequel series remains on track for a 2025 release.”
Good news to hear that we are still getting the new IT series somewhere down the line this year.

“Prequel series to Stephen King’s It that explores the origins of Pennywise the Clown and the sinister events that have plagued Derry, Maine:”
