Filming is set to begin on David Robert Mitchell’s They Follow, his long-awaited sequel to It Follows. Star Maika Monroe has just confirmed a shoot month of July.
Monroe shared the following brief comment with Vulture on the progress of the sequel:
“We go in two months. I’m so excited.”
She also had some things to say about her returning character Jay Height’s state of mind:
“She’s… she’s doing well. That’s as much as I can say. She is there and she’s doing well.”
It will be interesting to see what they do with Jay in present day.
