Kids vs. Aliens Lands on Blu-Ray in the United States.

If you missed director Jason Eisener’s science fiction horror film Kids vs. Aliens in theatres don’t stress, because RLJ/Image Entertainment is bringing it to Blu-ray in the US on April 18th.

I have not had the opportunity to catch the flick myself either, so a pre-order link on Amazon.com is probably the next best way of checking it out.

From the director of Hobo With a Shotgun, Kids vs. Aliens has the following synopsis:

“When Gary & Samantha’s parents head out of town one Halloween weekend, an all-time rager of a teen house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing the siblings to band together to survive the night.”

BONUS FEATURE CONTENTS:

  • Feature Commentary With Director Jason Eisener
  • Slime Time: The making of Kids Vs. Aliens
  • Storyboards

One thing I do know about it is the banging soundtrack. It’s brilliant. Also, the effects work looks top-notch. From watching the trailer it gave me those same kinds of vibes I got from watching classics The Goonies and The Monster Squad.

Did you happen to catch a screening of Kids vs. Aliens at the theatre? If so, what did you think of the flick? I would like to hear from you down in the Dark Nation community comments section.
