A RoboCop series has reportedly been greenlit at Amazon, this according to a new update via the good folks over at The Ankler this week.
The site states that head of Amazon MGM Studios Peter Friedlander “has greenlit a pair of long-gestating originals including, I can report exclusively, a reboot of MGM’s Robocop.”
Other than the news of the series being greenlit, the report doesn’t delve into any further details as of writing this post. We can only assume that Peter Ocko is still attached as showrunner.
And as for James Wan, will he still be producing the series through his Atomic Monster banner? I guess only time will tell. We will keep you keep informed on that one.
