In a new discussion with Josh Horowitz of the Happy Sad Confused podcast show, Pennywise actor Bill Skarsgård teased more details about the upcoming IT prequel show Welcome to Derry.
After Horowitz asked if Welcome to Derry will be scary as the two previous films, Skarsgård shared the following comments:
“Oh, it’s… yeah. …It’s pretty hardcore, man.”
When asked if this version of Pennywise would be G-rated, Skarsgård said:
“No, that would be a no.”
Finishing up the interview, Skarsgård shared the following details about the Pennywise character:
“I enjoyed reprising the role more than I thought I would, “also revealing that Welcome to Derry “explored sides of old Pennywise that we haven’t seen.”
