Streets of Rage-Esque Fighting Game ‘Fallen City Brawl’ Receives New Playable Steam Demo

Fallen City Brawl takes inspiration from the classic Streets of Rage series.

For those of you games who don’t yet know, Fallen City Brawl is a new Streets of Rage-esque beat ’em up video game from developers Fallen City Studio.

First revealed in 2020 via a failed Kickstarter campaign, the game found a home in 2021 with the folks at Eastasiasoft Limited.

The new beat ’em up will be fighting its way onto the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through the (Steam) website.

The game has the following description:

Brawl through the city in hard-hitting pixel art style inspired by arcade classics! Inspired by arcade beat ’em ups of the late ’80s and early ’90s, Fallen City Brawl is a story of ambition and revenge told through intense side-scrolling pixel art action.

There is no exact release date for the game currently, but the developers shared s recent update on social media promising it won’t be much longer before completion.
