Fede Álvarez is currently writing the sequel to Alien: Romulus. In a new interview this week, the director also revealed that he hopes to begin filming the follow up film sometime in 2025.
While speaking with the folks over at Collider, Álvarez shared the following comments:
“I think the sequel is my next movie. It’s a good question. I hope I can shoot it this year. If you guys are available. [Laughs].”
Álvarez also said that he would like to team with VFX artists Eric Barba and Dan Macarin one more time after their Oscar-nominated work on the previous film.
