After previously closing down the idea of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot, the shows star Sarah Michelle Gellar appears to have had a change of heart regarding its possible TV return.

In a new interview with the folks over at Deadline this week, Gellar explained that there are possible ways to bring the show back to our screens:

“It’s funny, I always used to say no, because it’s in its bubble and it’s so perfect. But watching Sex and the City and seeing Dexter, and realizing there are ways to do it, definitely does get your mind thinking, ‘well, maybe.’”

Gellar then went on to explain what a reboot of the show could be:

“It could be anything. It’s a universe. And it makes you realize that in this world, we need those heroes, I think, more so than ever,” she added.
