A sequel to Dog Soldiers is something that creator Neil Marshall has been trying to get off the ground for almost a decade now. In a new interview with the folks over at Inverse this week, Marshall revealed that it’s still a possibility.

I’m not giving up, though; there’s still a possibility. We’ve been trying to get it off the ground for the past six years. I’ve got a story hammered out. Kevin McKidd (who played Cooper in the first film) is on board.

The fact that Kevin McKidd remains on board and is willing to reprise his role as Cooper will keep the fire burning for as long as it takes to get this thing made.
