When Final Fight arrived on the SNES from Capcom in 1990, it lacked a 2-player mode, but a known hack has been making the rounds for a while now which allows two players to simultaneously battle through the game together.
We have not downloaded and tested the rom ourselves, but you can find the link to the files here to play the hacked Super Nintendo version of Final Fight on your PC.
Being one of the first games to arrive on the Super Nintendo in the early nineties, a potential two-player option ended up having to be removed because of the lack of cartridge sizes at the time. I guess something had to give to get a decent version of the brilliant Arcade game running on an inferior console such as the SNES during its early stages.
