Tecmo‘s Ninja Gaiden series isn’t the easiest games to beat, but these Ninja Gaiden Nes cheats are ultra helpful for making progress throughout the original Nintendo game. Let’s take a look at some of the games best cheat codes and hidden secrets.
EXTRA LIVES:
First up, we have some hidden extra lives for you to pick up. To gain an extra 1-up on stage 5-3, head to the third floor of the tower to gain that hidden 1-up. After you grab that, make your way down the ladder to access the second floor, then head back up to the third floor again to grab yet another 1-up. You can repeat this process as many times as you want.
CHEATS:
To start with five lives instead of the standard two, press and hold Down, Left, Select, I and II on the games main title screen.
GAME GENIE CODES:
For users who own a Game Genie cheat device, here are some great codes to help you progress through the entire game.
Unlimited Lives: SZETPGVG
Begin the game with nine Lives: AAUVLIZE
