Konami‘s iconic Super Nintendo game Super Castlevania IV is being ported over to the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive by MD Rom Test, and we have a first look video to go along with the announcement embedded in this article.
It will be very interesting to see how well the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive will handle all the special effects used in the later levels of the game.
For now, the game it appears to feature brand new enemy sprites and increased gameplay speeds, but this could stick or be changed as progress is made on the port.
I would imagine it’s going to be super difficult to match some of the graphical elements of Konami’s amazing Super Nintendo version of Super Castlevania IV on the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive.
Although I have to admit I am very impressed by what has been shown of the port in the first video footage.
You can check out some early development gameplay footage of the port in the video below, which actually looks and sounds pretty decent thus far.
After you get done watching the video, we would love to hear what you think down in the comments area below.
We will try and keep you all updated on its progress with future website posts.
