Eli Roth is preparing to bring genre fans a sequel to his 2023 horror film Thanksgiving. The director has also been teasing the return of a familiar face from the original.
In a new interview with our friends at Variety this week, Roth shared the following comments on Rae’s possible return:
“I love Addison Rae,” Roth told the site. “We kept her alive for a reason. It doesn’t feel like a ‘Thanksgiving’ movie without Addison Rae.”
Rick Hoffman and Nell Verlaque are also expected to make their return.
The original film takes place when:
“A mysterious masked maniac terrorises residents of Plymouth, Massachusetts, one year after a Black Friday riot ended in tragedy. Picking off victims one by one, the seemingly random revenge killings soon become part of a larger, sinister plan.”
Would you like to see Rae reprise her role as Gabby in Thanksgiving 2? What did you think of the first film? You can let us know your thoughts by leaving some comments down in our discussion section below.
The sequel to the original Thanksgiving is scheduled for a release some time in next year.
We will have a lot more on the upcoming horror sequel in the coming week/months.
