A sequel to John Carpenter‘s beloved 1982 cult classic horror/sci-fi film The Thing could be on the horizon. During the recent FAN EXPO in Philadelphia, an audience attendee asked the horror master if we will ever see The Thing 2.
Carpenter simply replied with: “We are working on it now. Well see.”
For those of you who don’t know, a sequel to The Thing has been rumoured for a number of years.
It’s very doubtful that the sequel is actually in secret development, it’s more likely just being discussed among Carpenter and potential filmmakers for now.
