For those of you who love a bit of Lara Croft action, these Tomb Raider 2 PS1 cheats should be right up your alley if you’re finding the game rather tough to beat.
The following cheats are for both the United Kingdom (PAL) and American (NTSC) versions of Tomb Raider 2 on the Sony PlayStation console.
LEVEL SKIP:
The following cheat is for the PAL version of the game:
Press L2 to light a flare then hold R1 and use the d-pad to walk forward one step, back one step, release R1 and spin three times in a complete circle in any direction. Finally, jump forward by pressing Up + Square (default configuration required).
And the following is for NTSC users:
Walk by holding down R1 then hold R2 and use the d-pad to side-step left, side-step right, side-step left, step back one step, step forward one step, let go of R1 and R2 and spin three times in a complete circle in any direction. Finally, jump forwards and turn around in mid-air by pressing Up + Square, Circle (default configuration required).
ALL WEAPONS:
Cheat for the PAL version of the game:
Press L2 to light a flare then hold R1 and use the d-pad to take one step forward, one step back, release R1 and spin three times in a complete circle. Jump back by pressing Down + Square
Cheat for the NTSC version of the game:
Hold R1 to walk then hold R2 and use the d-pad to side-step left, side-step right, side-step left, step back, step forward, spin three times in a complete circle in any direction. Finally, jump backwards and turn around in mid-air by pressing Down + Square, Circle. (default configuration required).
MAKE LARA EXPLODE:
This cheat should work on both PAL and NTSC versions of the game:
Hold R1 to walk then hold R2 and use the d-pad to step forward, step back. Still holding R1 to walk turn around 360-degrees 3 times in any direction, then back flip. (default configuration required).
If, like many, you struggle making any kind of progress through Tomb Raider 2, these neat cheats above should be enough to help you get further in this classic PS1 game.
