There has been a lot of requests to list all the known Troll 2 filming locations. In this fun little Dark Nation article, we will try and locate all filming spots for director Claudio Fragasso’s beloved low budget fantasy horror film for you to discover.
Note: As of May of 2023, the following locations are believed to be accurate. However, we can’t 100% verify these filming locations ourselves.
Furthermore, we have highlighted the important details in green.
LOCATIONS:
A portion of the exterior shots where filmed at 1680 East Center Court, Heber City, Utah, USA.
The house of one of the film’s main Goblins known as Creedence Leonore Gielgud was filmed at Porterville Ward LDS Meeting House – 3057 South Morgan Valley Drive, Morgan, Utah, USA.
The Presents’ Residence is where the Waits family take residence in the town of Nilbog, and the location can be found at 1678 Lake Creek Road, Heber City, Utah, USA.
Nilbog’s general store can be found at 129 Commercial Street, Morgan, Utah, USA.
Drew’s scene where he gets a ride was filmed at 2041 South Morgan Valley Drive, Morgan, Utah, USA.
Grandpa Seth’s scene where he can be seen hitchhiking was filmed at 9755 Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
Forest scenes and the location of Elliott Cooper’s RV can be found at Guardsman Pass Road, Park City, Utah, USA.
Interior shots inside the Waits’ family house where filmed at 8456 Willow Creek Drive, Sandy, Utah, USA.
Waits family driving up to Nilbog can be located at Highway 80/84, Echo Reservoir, Henefer, Utah, USA.
