1. F-Zero X:

An absolute banger of a racing game to play among friends. One of the most impressive, visually pleasing games on the Nintendo 64. Once you get a few good races under your belts, you’ll be hooked on the multiplayer mode for sure. Be sure to add this one to your must-play list.

2. Golden Eye:

Considered one of the greatest first-person shooters ever created, Golden Eye on the Nintendo 64 is a must-play title in multiplayer mode. To get the most fun out of the game, try playing it in 4-player mode with some of your friends. This classic title never gets old.

3. 1080 Snowboarding:

If you enjoy smooth, face-paced snowboarding games, then 1080 Snowboarding will have you hooked from the moment you begin playing. As it’s often the case with these types of games, it’s so much more fun in two-player mode.

4. Mario Kart 64:

If you love the Super Nintendo version of Mario kart, then you’re going to absolutely enjoy the N64 game too. Mario kart 64 features selection of 8 beloved characters, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Wario, Bowser, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong. To get the most out of the game, be sure to play it in two-player mode.

5. Diddy Kong Racing:

Another decent racer that’s perfectly suited for a bit of multiplayer action. Diddy Kong Racing is not just your typical racing game. It also includes elements of adventure as well with fun tasks to keep you coming back for more. Overall, the game is most fun in two player mode.

6. Wave Race 64:

Wave Race 64 has to be one of the most addicted racing games on the beloved Nintendo 64. The most fun part about the game is performing tricks on a Jet Ski while racing your opponents around a selection of courses. Be sure to experience the multiplayer mode with a friend for added enjoyment.

7. Fighters Destiny:

Fighters Destiny is probably considered one of the better fighting games on the console. Packed full of awesome combat moves and a nice selection of fighters, there’s plenty of quality gameplay to keep you coming back time and time again. A brilliant points system determined by knock downs is used to win fights.

8. Mace: The Dark Age:

Mace: The Dark Age is another awesome fighter for the Nintendo 64. Fight against a computer opponent or a friend using giant swords in a epic battle to the end. Featuring plenty of hectic action moves and highly impressive visuals, beat ’em up fans are in for a real treat with this one.

9. Duke Nukem 64:

Alongside the excellent Doom 64, Duke Nukem 64 is easily one of the firm favorite shooters on the system. The game features a two player co-op mode and a four-player deathmatch option. Best advice would be to get a bunch of your friends around for a quality shootout battle.

10. Top Gear Rally:

I remember enjoying the heck out of Top Gear Rally immensely back in the early days of the Nintendo 64. Not only can you customise your chosen vehicle in a variety of stickers and different colors, but you can also race against one of your biddies in practise or arcade modes.
