Leatherface is set to fire up his chainsaw once again in the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie adaptation from A24. Recently, its writer / director Curry Barker shared an exciting update which will no doubt please a lot of franchise fans.
Curry hasn’t even started writing the script yet, but he clearly has vision for his new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie:
“I don’t want to give up too much — I haven’t even started writing it yet — but I like Texas Chainsaw 2 a lot and I think I have a pretty good idea of what people like about that movie.”
On including passed characters in his new adaptation:
“I really loved certain characters in that movie. I’m very excited to incorporate characters that we haven’t seen a lot of.”
We were originally supposed to be getting a Chainsaw reboot from Verve starring Glen Powell, but things obviously didn’t pan out too well with that rumoured version.
