Fans of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise are in for a real treat in 2023 with the new 4K edition and upcoming video game based on the late Tobe Hooper‘s iconic horror film set to arrive soon from developers Gun Interactive.
Shortly before the game hits game shop shelves and Steam, the 1974 film is getting the 4K UHD Blu-Ray treatment from Second Sight Films on April 10th, 2023.

The 1974 film takes place in the blistering Texas heat and follows:
“Five friends travelling through rural Texas stumble across what appears to be a deserted house, only to discover something sinister within. The group soon find themselves picked off, one-by-one, by a masked madman with a chainsaw.”

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre paved the way for many great horror films that followed. In my opinion, there still hasn’t been another villain in horror quite like Gunnar Hansen’s portrayal of Leatherface.
