A test screening for Zach Cregger’s upcoming Resident Evil movie recently took place, this reported by the website World of Reel. Below, we have highlighted some of the more interesting reactions that came out of the secret screening.
An attendee said Cregger “delivered something lean, mean, and very confident.”
Another review described it as “all gas, no brakes.”
Another comment said: “Monsters show up often, practical effects dominate, and the set pieces are front and center. The environments are very much in line with the early games.”
I am sure there are more interesting comments from the Resident Evil test screening out there on the web.
One thing is for sure, the Resident Evil fan community is pretty fierce and very opinionated when it comes to the video game movie adaptations. If the movie fails to deliver, I just hope Cregger’s is prepared for the more hardcore fans who I am sure will certainly let him know about it.
