A regular leaker who goes by the name of Dusk Golem (a Discord user) is claiming that five Resident Evil games are in active development at Capcom.
Golem also states one of them is Resident Evil 9.
From Discord, he said: “five Resident Evil games in dev[elopment] right now, including Resident Evil 9“
It’s believed the other four games in development are more remakes of previous installments in the beloved horror video game franchise.
The leaker in question has had a number of hits and misses in the past, so take this news with a grain of salt for now.
Capcom’s iconic zombie video game series is outstanding, and we would love nothing more than this news to lead to five new games in the form of remakes or sequels.
