In recent days, a new rumour has been circling around the web which suggests Capcom‘s next Resident Evil series entry (being number 9) could be an open-world game.
Regular video game leaker and reliable source Dusk Golem shared the following information on one of his recent X posts, which reads:
“Dragon’s Dogma 2 expanded RE Engine functionality for open-world games, the two other games building on this tech is Monster Hunter Wild and Resident Evil 9.”
