Alongside A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream, another one of our favourite Wes Craven horror films is getting the 4K UHD Blu-Ray treatment from Scream Factory this May.
That’s right, the 4K UHD release of The People Under the Stairs will be hitting shelves everywhere in the United States on May 23rd.
Like many Scream Factory titles, Craven’s The People Under the Stairs will come jammed with stacks of bonus feature content to please diehard fans of the classic 1991 horror gem.
Written and directed by the late Craven, The People Under the Stairs has the following plot outline: “a young boy and two adult thieves who become trapped in a house belonging to a strange couple known as the Robesons after breaking in to steal their rare coin collection. They find a lot more than they bargained for waiting for them in the basement.”
If you are familiar with the previous Blu-Ray release of the film, you will notice many of the bonus feature contents remain the same. Obviously, the main reason to buy this latest edition of the film is for the 4K transfer, not the bonus content.
