According to a listing on the Play-Asia store, it appears that the artwork (above) and main title for Capcom’s next Resident Evil game, Resident Evil 9: Revenant Shadows, has been leaked.
The snippet of text found on their website reads:
“This game continues the chilling legacy with a fresh story, new characters, and the return of familiar faces. Set in an expansive, terrifying world filled with new threats and mysteries, Revenant Shadows blends intense action, intricate puzzles, and the atmospheric dread that fans have come to love.”
One of the hottest rumours circulating around the web and on social media is that the game will be set in on an island in Southeast Asia. You can read a lot more about that here.
Resident Evil 9: Revenant Shadows has no officially release date details as of sharing this update.
As it’s still very early days, the title and artwork for the upcoming game could change at any time ahead of its home console debut.
