The official plot details for the new Blair Witch Project reboot movie have been revealed online ahead of its fall filming date.
From the Deadline website, the new reboot movie begins when:
“A family that goes on a camping trip but goes missing one by one after they hear strange noises in the forest.”
This is obviously the short version of the Blair Witch Project plot, so expect a lot more information to follow in the coming weeks/months.
And as previously announced, original stars Joshua Leonard and Michael C. Williams are on board the new reboot movie as executive producers.
There’s been no official word on whether or not original star Heather Donahue will also join the cast of the Blumhouse reboot. It’s a little surprising to me why she hasn’t been included yet as another producer.
