In this weeks retro video game feature we have a bunch of Revenge of Shinobi cheats and Game Genie codes for the classic Genesis / Mega Drive video game from Sega.
The following cheat does not require anything else other than a control pad and the game cartridge itself.
Unlimited Shurikins cheat:
While on the options menu screen, press the pointer up to the Shurikins text and set them to 00, wait until 30-seconds passes (keeping the arrow pointed at the text). When the cheat has been activated you should hear a sound effect confirming it has worked. When you begin a new game you should have infinite Shurikins from that point on.
You must have a Codemasters Game Genie cartridge device to use any of the codes listed below.
GAME GENIE CODES:
Unlimited lives – ACTT–BA4Y + ACRT–BA32
Infinite shurikins – BMVT–GA6L + BMTT–GA4L
Unlimited energy gauge – BXVA–GA9E + BXTA–GA7E
Most enemy bombs and shurikins cause no damage – AANT–CAAJ + AANT–CAAJ
Most enemy bombs, shurikins, and swords cause no damage – ABCA–BA94 + RFCA–A616 + ABCA–BA90 + RFCA–A612
Energy remains full when using Jitsu of Mijin – AC5A–BA46 – AC3A–BA44
Begin game with 500 shurikins – 8TBA–ACC6 + 8TBA–ACC0
Begin game with 9 continues – BGKA–AAH4 + BGHA–AAG0
Start in district 1, stage 2 – AGKT–AAAA + AGHA–AAG6
Start in district 1, stage 3 – ALKT–AAAA + ALHA–AAG6
