As we showcased a few weeks back, a port of the iconic arcade video game Splatterhouse is coming to the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, and today brings a first playable demo for the game.
You can get access to it right now via this download link.
Developer note: “Please note that this is a ***WORK IN PROGRESS*** and that what is in this demo is not necessarily the final versions of art, color, sound or music. There may be bugs as well. They will be fixed. There is tuning to be done – it will be done.”
With the game being in its earlier stages of development, you can expect to run into a lot of bugs and glitches before they are ironed out in the completed version.
I have to give the developers props, the game is looking like a very accurate conversion of the classic Namco arcade game.
After you get down playing demo, you can let us know what you think of the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive version of Splatterhouse down in our community section below this article.
We will be posting more updates on the Genesis / Mega Drive port of Splatterhouse as they are revealed by the developers.
