Marcus Dunstan, who is currently co-writing the next Saw sequel, Saw XI, promises that the next installment in the long-running horror franchise will be an “angry” film.
While speaking with Screen Rant this week, Dunstan revealed the following information:
“We’re writing XI right now, and Kevin Greutert is returning to direct. That’s been since December, and that’s one where it’s got something new to say, and it’s angry.”
The plot for the next film is being kept under wraps as of writing up this article.
Casting has yet to be officially announced, but it’s pretty clear that both Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith will be back to reprise their roles as John Kramer (Jigsaw) and Amanda Young.
Kevin Greutert will take over the directors chair once again.
