Fans of the 1989 run and gun platformer Toki will probably be pretty excited to hear that the beloved game is heading to Analogue Pocket from developers Solal Retro Gaming.
The game originally debuted in arcades first, then later made its presence felt on home consoles such as the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, NES, C64, Atari ST, Amiga, and Atari Lynx.
Here’s a teaser image of the game running on the device via an X post:
Toki is running on @analogue #pocket, thanks to @topapate that let me access to his framework to build on this target. It will be released soon ! pic.twitter.com/B3sV6zP6bT

We have to say, it’s looking rather good thus far.
We don’t yet have a confirmed release date for the Analogue Pocket version of Toki, but the developers are promising it’s coming fairly soonish. Better to wait as long as it takes to get it right rather than have it rushed out to the public with potential bug issues.
